Yes - good morning indeed. Nothing nourishes the soul like waking up in the mountains as the sun rises over the lake and you can take it all in. I love the mountains. Someday my dream of being a ski bum will come true! Since I'm still recovering from being sick for 3 days (even though my work schedule from hell kept me in the office) I sent my husband to ski alone so I could rest up for the following 5 ski days. Sunday is our 6 month wedding anniversary - wow how time flies when you're having fun! I just went for a nice brisk hilly walk around the neighborhood to adjust to the altitude. - aaahhhhhh.
Now time to hit the steam room-
Ciao 4 Now!
Cafe Dellbrook is my kitchen. It is the heart of my home and I spend a lot of time there. When friends visit - we always end up in my kitchen sharing stories, food, wine and laughs are always bountiful. Welcome to Cafe Dellbrook. Pull up a chair, grab a glass of wine and unwind.

The Crash
After working 14 days in a row without a day off I finally crashed. I went to bed with a sore throat - eeeewwwwww - i hate a sore throat - i'd rather have a broken limb than a sore throat. So I have shut down. Sleep, sleep and more sleep. The wine event was AMAZING and I can't wait to do another one. So I'm off to sleep some more. Need to rest up and get ready for what will be my last ski trip of the season - we are departing Tuesday afternoon. I'm hoping to get 5 more ski days in - woo hoo - and it's supposed to snow on Wednesday/Thursday so hopefully will get some freshies as well.
